Introduction

The goals of the Golden Victor Awards are simple, yet profound:

  • to weave together a diverse and dedicated community that fosters belonging, understanding, and connections;

  • to raise a collective voice, a chorus of diverse communities united to shatter the stigma surrounding mental health for our heroes; and

  • to provide community, support, and access to resources that our veterans, first responders, and their families deserve.

The Golden Victor Awards is a celebration that will illuminate the impactful endeavors of organizations that are making a commendable difference in the well-being of our nation's service members, veterans, first responders, and their families and caregivers.

Unique Values of the Golden Victor Awards

The Golden Victor Awards distinguishes itself through its holistic approach, emphasis on community building, commitment to diversity and representation, mission-driven fundraising, and collective advocacy efforts. These factors combine to make it a unique and impactful force in the field of mental health and wellness for our nation's heroes.

Holistic Wrap-around Approach

Unlike some other recognition programs that may focus solely on specific aspects of mental health support, the Golden Victor Awards takes a holistic approach. It celebrates organizations that offer a comprehensive range of services and programs tailored to the unique needs of veterans, first responders, and their families, encompassing mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being.

Interconnected Ecosystem

The Golden Victor Awards serves as more than just a recognition ceremony; it's a platform for community building and collaboration. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, including organizations, supporters, influencers, and honorees, the program fosters connections, networking opportunities, and the exchange of innovative ideas. This emphasis on community engagement sets it apart as a dynamic and inclusive space for collective action.

Mission-Driven Fundraising

Beyond simply recognizing excellence, the Golden Victor Awards is deeply committed to its mission of service. Funds raised through sponsorships and attendance to the awards goes directly to the immediate expansion of the vital Resilience & Recovery community support programs and the construction of a first of its kind wellness center dedicated to our nation’s heroes and their families - extending far beyond the ceremony itself, making a tangible difference in these communities.

Collective Advocacy

Initiatives like Golden Victor Awards and sharing personal stories play a crucial role in raising awareness about PTSD and highlighting the impact of mental health issues. By sharing real-life experiences and personal journeys, individuals can humanize the issue, break down stigma, and create a more supportive and understanding environment.

Join us for an unprecedented moment as we lift the curtains on mental health and wellness, revealing a collaborative community dedicated to making a difference.
